Help w/ new intake pipe and air filter

I was just wondering what is the best air filter to use for a gst/gsx?
I've got the stock intake pipe right now. What kind of an hp boost would I be looking at (roughly) if I put on a stainless steel 3" pipe & a high flow filter?

Also, I have a 3" down pipe all the way through.

Sorry. It's a 95 GS-t w/ a 97 Talon TSi eng. Like I said, I've already put a full 3" down pipe on it.

As for the gains you're looking at- the Intake on our cars is typically not that impressive of an upgrade- it's more support for future upgrades in my opinion. With a 3in downpipe already installed you should see some response but nothing to write home about (i.e. you're not going to see the huge gains that some Honduhs or other n\a cars enjoy).

Does anyone know what size the stock turbo's intake is?
I was thinking, if I did get a 3" pipe, I may have to bottleneck it down to a 2&1/2 or whatever it is.

if you look at all the intakes from mas to turbo inlet the all neck down and it should come with the connectors clamps etc, just make sure you get on w/ the bov tube
