i have a 20g turbo rite now and i might be getting a gt30r, will i have to change manifolds, i was going to get new ones in the future but i dont have the money right now , will it be ok tyo bolt the gt30r to my ported stock for a lil while

Oops, it is bolt-on but you'll need to mod the oil feed line.

the GT30R is not a bolton unit to the stock manifold. you will need to get a proper t3 flange manifold. they range from $200 up to $1000. ebay is the cheapest.

you well have to change the oil feed lines and water feed aswell a the return lines.
that can be $50 to $150 bucks as it depends on that you use for lines.

and you well have to chande the o2 housing and aswell a wastgate if the turbo does not have a inturnal wastgate

No its the one I have sitting in my room. Definatly the same one as on that site. I had it on my car bolt to my 2g mani with external and a ported 2g o2 housing so it is definatly a bolt on.

Re-read my post. The original poster has not provided what turbo he is looking at so I was informing him that a "True" gt30r is a garrett flange that requires a different manifold and o2 housing while PTE provides a bolt on alternative that should really only require different lines. Everything I have heard is that the pte housing chokes the turbo out on top but nothing that is very noticable. A true 30r while being more costly is still best option.
