I'm currently having the EPROM socketed. It came from an Automatic 91 TSi.
DSMLink will be here tomorrow so it's a little late to ask this question.
The ECU seems to work in the car, it does start.
Will DSMLink work with this as I'm in a Manual 91 TSi?
Not sure if DSMLink meant it wouldn't work in a car that was automatic
or if it's the automatic ECU they're talking about.
Thanks in advance!

Actually, dsmlink will only work the ecu. everything about shifting and the auto trans is worked through the TCU.

as long as you're running a keydriver ship with the right injector sizing inputed, and dsmlink youll be fine to run the auto eprom.

hell, i wish i could find one. i need to do an injector push from the auto 390's to the manual 450's. . . yay for the 14b upgrade.

Actually, 1G DSMLinks come with their own EPROM chip. They ask you what injectors you're gonna be running when it's ordered, and they burn you a chip with their code on it. You should be good to go with that ECU.

well damn, now im really wishing i had an eprom.

mine's just a reman. peice from mitsu. so it has no exterior tags.

is there any way i can find out if mine is by opening it up? i've opened it before, but i didn't know where i was looking for the eprom chip.
