There is a weird sound coming from my passenger side front wheel area. Thought it was wheel bearing but no steering wheel shake, looked at rotor looks pretty rough.

thkink it is that. Any ideas?????

Ya know that sticky at the top that says vage questions equal vage answers?
Well I would have to guess there is something wrong with the front end, maybe on the passengers side by the wheel. :p

What specifics seem to be unusual on the rotor? Have you compared it with your other one?
Does it vibrate? does it do it more when you are turning? Accelerating? Braking?

the rotor has a small groove in the center...the rotors need replacing there old, i just dont have enough money to replace. most of the noise can be heard below 10 mph while tapping on brakes. kind of a woooo-----wooooo-----woooooo like something it warped and only doing it when rotating.....pretty sure it is the rotor.

is it possable that only one rotor can be warped more then the others, i also noticed more brake dust from that side as well.

I think you may just need new pads. If that groove went through to the inner vents that would be very bad.

Pull a front tire off, You should be able to see where the pads are inside the caliper. You will see the steel plate and if your pad is okay there will be more than 1/8" of pad between that metal plate and the rotor. If there is less than 1/8" of pad left get a new set. This should fix the problem. You could probably get the roters turned and will have to if the metal of the pad has worn on the rotor. The 2g gsx brakes are bigger and should bolt right up so if possible I would get pads and call it good til you can get some GSX brakes or performance brakes.
Check the pad though, If there is plenty of pad post back here.

thks alot I will be sure to do that ASAP, if i still have probs I will be sure to post back here and if I cant get you in the pst i will be sure to IM you.

thk you, tyler
