91 tsi awd................. when i start my car i can hear fluid kind of "splashing around" and when i hit the gas the "splashing around" gets louder according to how mush throttle i give it. i cant hear it that well out side the car because it to loud to hear but when im inside i hear it right behind where the cd player would be any ideas? also since that right where the ac is i want to let you know that there is no belt attached to that pully if that means anything something else i dont know if matters but im going to give all the info i have on the car it is running 16g no supporting fuel mods and there is a crack in the valve cover that i just jb welded any help/ideas is wonderful thank you

LOL thats when you change the it or drain the coolant. but for now leave the petcock alone and just fill it with water for now and as its running fill it up as it goes down.... And these cars get up to temp very fast because of the low cooling capacity and small cooling passages. My 420a got up to temp fast, my exs 420a got up to temp fast and my buddys tsi awd gets up to temp very fast.

thats good to know i was getting worried about the temp rising so fast so ill back here tomorrow and let you all kow if that solves the issue LOL and thanks

im not that new back when i joined the site i had a 91 gs ecu went replaced it a week later the tranny went now im back at the top of the line with turbo awd LOL but thanks

Just one other piece that you might consider if the heater core is plugged, but you can try to flush it out by draining some coolant from the system and disconnecting the hoses from the heater core and using a semi powerful stream of water to push water in both directions of the heater to attempt to remove any debris from the core...

the water should have moved or came down at least some. but any way to what alaskandsm said, To take off the heater core hoses you would have look on the fire wall just behind the where the throttle body connects to the intake and look down just a bit and you will see two big hoses that go into the fire wall and those are your heater core hoses, drain your coolant and take them hoses off and find a long 5/8 heater hose and get a garden hose and hold it to the heater hose and let it run as its flowing watch to see what comes out you might be surprised ROFL what comes out. Reconnect every thing and fill it up and see what happens.:hellyeah:
