Why does my boost change so much?

Hey guys just had a quick question, I notice that the psi in my car changes alot. It varies anywhere from 7-13 psi. It seems to change threwout the day. My car is stock besides exhaust and a boost gauge. Any help would be apreciated.

You going by the stock or the aftermarket? May fluctuate b/c of throttle position . Ok on to more serious answer. Fluctuating/loose actuator? Could have something to do with a faulty wastegate. Do you have a mbc? If so take the screw out and look at the spring, I bet its stuck sideways, happened to me and id get anything from 10-20 psi in a 2nd gear pull.

Can you move the wastegate arm by hand with it connected to the flapper arm?

Also check the hose routing to the wastegate actuator.

You said it fluctuates throughout the day... does it change inconsistently or follow any pattern?
