I had a random question that I always wanted to know the answer to... and I'm bored so here I go..

Why did they put a 4G64 in the Spyder N/T, but a 420A in the other 2G N/T'2??
 
The spyder is a heavier car due to its extra bracing. It needs the extra low end torque to keep it from being a total dog. And there's some rebel working in Mitsubishi who knew we would need a source for 2.4l blocks.:rocks:
 
They are great for us to work w/. They have a better rod/stroke ratio than a 4g63 w/ a stroker kit in it and have that 0.1L more displacement.

In fact, the G4CS (a hyundai engine) is the 6-bolt version of the 4g64 2.4L. So you'll ahve all the benefits of the 6-bolt block (bigger rods, bigger head bolts), but in a 2.4 litre assembly.

The owner of the shop who tuned my car has an eclipse with a 2.4 hyundai block.. how hard are they to come across by.. and how hard are they to drop in the car..
