Who's running dual wg on a t3?

I'm in the middle of my current build. Which consists of an FP3586 HTA bolted to a punishment racing t3 manifold and a single tial 44. My tuner has raised some concerns about its design due to the wastegate placement at the t3 flange. Has anyone running this manifold seen boost creep issues? Or is anyone running dual wastegate on their t3 non-divided setup? I know I'm putting the cart before the horse but I'd rather do the work now than tear it apart later. Thanks

So are you thinking you don't have enough WG? a single 44 with OK placement should still be plenty on an open t3 in my mind.

I wasnt, but my tuner was. He said due to my .82 ar hot side. I always thought that punishments location was pretty well designed, and that the .82 was fairly big.

im running a xtreme fab manifold on my car currently that has a similar wg location. only issue is pre turbo backpressure im assuming as i have 22psi psrings in the gate and the car logs/ sees 26psi. im running a holset hx40 on a .70ar housing.

If you’re running that turbo under 40psi you wasted your money, so boost creep shouldn’t be an issue. Also be prepared for full boost at 7,500 rpms in 2nd gear.

Haha, it's not a laggy turbo from what I remember (granted it's been 10 years since I ran it). My only concern is that it was bolted to a stroke previously, and I now went back to a 2L.

I thought dual wastegates were more for twin scroll setups

Twin wastegates are only needed when using a divided twin scroll hot side and corresponding manifold.

I will say that a single wastegate on a single runner is not ideal, it works but not ideal. You really want it at the collector or just after like stock.
