like the topic says. Who's hit 11's on a FWD 2g and what did it take? I KNOW i have the power for 11's but i think the biggest thing holding me back is an LSD ( or lack there of ) But if any of you have hit 11'son a full interior FWD 2g i would like to know a rough estimate of your motor and a list of what else it took to hit that mark. I can't even utilize the power i have right now because i spin my slicks just like they were street tires all through 2nd. This year i have the advantage of some coil over slip ons with different rate springs and tokico illuminas to help the weight transfer, but with cams and alky I'm making even more power, i just can't get it to the ground.
I"ll be honest, i don't know a ton about DSM's alone because my main focus is on engines and tuning them, so while i may know a bit about what the 4g63 wants as far as timing and fuel, i have no clue as to where to go next for putting the power down besides balancing the front corner weights out with the tokicos and hoping an LSD is available next time i pull the tranny. i tried to buy one from RRE in November, but they were all in customs and RRE (Robert to be exact) didn't call me when the units were in(like he promised he would) so i didn't get one unfortunately.
I'm just wondering if there's something I've overlooked in the tranny or suspension dept's before moving on to any more power. I ran 12.08 @ 117 MPH on 19 PSI and race fuel with an aggressive timing curve and any time i went higher on boost, i spun more and had higher ET's.
Any tips of other little things (or big) that i could do would be great! I know how to make a 944 hadle like it's on rails but honestly i barely know drag racing , i don't even do it for any reason other thahn to have bragging rights of 1/4 mile times though either. GOing straight has never got my blood pumping like running a road course has. I put this in the new sections since we don't' have a place that a question like this would fit.
EDIT: P.S. my two main goals are to stay full interior and retain the use of A/C without over heating

seriously, i would like nothing more than AWD, but until i find a 2G donor car i'm stuck FWD'in it. I might have found an AWD car that's wrecked in one corner already though got to call the guy up
