Remember it costs less then half of what most people quote to do it yourself and it's not rocket science people. Theirs enough info on the net and people around usually that will help with the right knowledge to do it yourself.
I do understand it costs less to do it yourself - That's why I pulled the motor myself and I'll be putting it back it.
I want a reputable DSM shop to do all the machining because all the places around here are full of hill jacks that don't have any ideas of what tolerences are because they've worked on fords and chevys all their lives. Nothing against them, I just don't want a bunch of small block guys building my motor.
I also don't want to learn how to build a motor, mess something up, and then have to deal with it later. I want a one shot - drop in - don't have to worry about anything - motor. With the luck I've had with this car, I do NOT want to chance ANYTHING.
