What's up guys? I just got done installing my SBR Big T28 and my Oil return line from the turbo to the oil pan is leaking at the turbo. Anybody know where I can find the gasket? Give me a link maybe? I found one on MachV, but it didn't specify 1G or 2g, and I was led to believe that they are different. Thanks in advance guys. :thumb:

My oil line is still leaking also!

I tried two brand new gaskets, new washers from dealer, and new stainless steel bolts!

Guess what... It still leaked! :(

How do you guys actually use the RTV to create a seal?

Thanks! :)

Your flange is probably warped. Mine was, i just filed it down and no more leaks

I'll be doing the gasket maker tomorrow, I got the good stuff from a tech at work. I'll post the results tomorrow night. It was a decent leak, but I swear there was no gasket on the T25 when I removed the line.

i talk to this guy who has been doing dsm for 10 years and i asked him what all i need to get my car back together so he gave me a list but never said gaskets for the oil lines i asked him why and he told me that the best thing to use is silocone he said its better than gaskets and last way longer good luck hope the info helps

It might harden it up a bit faster if it's cold outside, but RTV means "Room-Temperature Vulanizing".
OK, makes sense. It is about 40F here at night, so I'll probably have to heat it up a little bit. I'll put the Copper RTV on tonight, and when I get the car running on Thirsday, I'll post whether it leaks or not....

The Good Stuff works really well. Just make sure you get all of the oil residue off the sealing surfaces before puting the sealant on. It will not bond/seal well if there is even a slight hint of oil on there. Good Luck :thumb:

I also use Permatex Ultra Gray sealant with good luck.

A gasket's only like a dollar at the dealer. Just make sure you don't put on too much rtv and plug up the oil drain hole when it hardens

I knew it had to be cheap, but couldn't find one on-line for a 2g, and everyone suggested gasket maker or RTV. Going to test it out now.
