AWD rear sway bar end links, they are no longer available from Mitsu and mine were trashed so I had to make my own. I finally found something close, 94 Nissan Sentra front sway bar link are close. I had to grind on them a little bit as you can see in the pic but they worked, I do however wish I could have ran a die over them about another 20mm but the rod was to thick.

New rebuilt rear calipers painted teal to match the car, RRE SS lines, loaded with Porterfield pads pinching power slots, should stop good.

Should stop good. I have the same setup and it is scary how hard you have to get on the brakes at Kil-Kare when you are trapping 130.

Here is a few shots of what we have underneath so far, ahhh no more rust. You can now see there are no brake line brackets mounting holes on the struts from these pics.

Everything looks great!
Really liked the added plenum on the cyclone and the dual feed fuel line
All the painted and polished stuff looks awesome, too

Well, at first I didn't like this guy, but he has earned my respect. can't wait to see the completed project. I think it will be one if not the cleanest 1g. Good job.

I wish I had the time and money to do this to my DSM

Now that all the rear suspension has been installed and torque to spec it was time to go ahead and fit that gas tank in. Since the last mention of the tank it has been tested first to make sure it was not going to leak. I would pressurize the tank to 3psi and spray the whole tank with a water bottle to find pin holes. I found about 5 total, they were all welded up and the test was performed again this time to 5psi and left that way over night. When I came out the next day I was at 3.5 psi, good. The tank was then fitted with an Aeromotive and Summit fuel filters, fuel cooler, Bosch O44 pump, polished the rear of it and undercoated the rest of the tank. I used the rear window defroster wiring to feed the pump with voltage, I wont' use it anymore so I put it to good use, I had to rewire the relay to make it work, but it did. Lastly I had some fuel cell foam laying around so I made sure to put that in the tank before it was all sealed up.

Now that the tank was installed I could go ahead and install the neck. That thing was a just a tad rusty, so it was sandblasted and repainted. All new SS hardware was used that way it doesn't rust again.

Man.....These shots under the rear of your car are making me jealous! I like what I see man, keep up the good work!

How much money are you throwing into this?Just out of curiosity, how old are you?

Picked up a 13lb Braille battery from Jegs. They are a little more expensive than its competition but at least it isn't ORANGE! I spent about 12 hours perfecting the tray, bracing, polishing, wiring, and mounting, worth every second.

All other circuits by this point have been tested and they were okay and operational. Now that power is hooked up and wiring is finally completed it was time to check the ECU stuff and key on and see what happened. This is where some of the wiring problems arose. First thing was the ECU/VPC/AFC would not get power. I started checking the fuses and my inside fuse panel had literally rusted and corroded where the tube fuses sat during the winter. Replaced the fuse panel with a new better one and now I then I had power to the ECU, but it would never turn off. I started checking things and when I disconnected the MSD the ECU would shut off. Found it, looked at my wiring diagram and realized I wired in the MSD before the power transistor instead of after it. Ran all new wires and the ECU would turn on and off as it should, problem solved. The last thing was I was not reading TPS, I forgot to hook up the TPS wire to the AFC, no biggie. Wheew, yes! I think I got it.

After I welded in my -8 fitting for the turbo water feed onto the radiator where the stock AC sensor went , I got my Fluidyne polished, strapped two 12” Summit pushers on, and slapped it in, that should keep things nice and cool.

Now that the radiator is in I could throw in the factory coolant bottle, I made a nice little bracket to mount to the radiator and it worked fine.
