Heres to class :thumb: Mabey we should open a new board in tuners that deals with 4g63 guys and 420a guys, we could have ambassadors for each group. Mabey we could finally get along.
 
The worst part of this is that this kind of bickering is starting to happen over at evolutionm between the evo and base model lancer guys.

It's because they always come in here to pick on us and take our lunch money man! :p

It's a double edged sword. They look like dicks for talking shit on us, we look like ####ies for bitching and moaning all the time about it. As simple as it is to just ignore the stray hater and continue to carry on whatever discussion was at hand, some of us feel the need to take up our torch and bring the fight to them like there's something to prove. Oh well. It doesn't matter if I'm a part of the most divisive enthusiast community in the country, I still drive a DSM, it's still sexy as hell looking, and I still know more about tuning and actual engine work than the typical street racing moron. That makes me proud. :thumb:

exactly what that guy said, cause they come in here and pick on us. you dont see any NT guys going into the 4g63t section and saying "oh you guys suck, you get crank walk... blah blah blah... you break down all the time... blah blah blah.... the sky is blue... blah blah blah.... NT guys just dont do that. as much as i dont like pointing fingers and blaming others, 95% of these wars are started by the turbo guys, and we dont just sit here and let them bash us, so they continue and snowball.

plain and simple, tell us how to make OUR cars better, not how to sell it to get yours. they just point out our cars downfalls that we already know, but rub it in for some reason, as if to make themselves better. they just need to stop.

i own a 91 4g63 n/t and am currently making over 200 hp to the front tires on the motor but i can get enuff traction to get out of the 14 is that what u wanted to prove wrong il have a timeslip for u guys in a few weeks

They also chose the optional 7 speed transmission too!

And the HKS SuperStealth turbo which is located at the bottom of the header out of the sight of the camera imo. And he didn't have a 7 speed tranny. I thought that too, at first, then I noticed his reverse lights were on when he lost it. Shifting into reverse at 140mph will do that to you imo. (And he had to have shifted into reverse. DSM reverse lights have a tendency to not work. Not to work when not in reverese.) :p
 
Now that the dust has settled a bit on this post with all the bickering, I think I will put in my 2 cents. I am in the process of giving every n/a their money's worth with the mods that I have been able to do to my 94 n/a. By the end of the summer, I will have a GM MAF installed with a ram CAI, reprogrammed ECU to match the mods made and a MSD DIS II to ensure full spark throughout the powerband. By the fall I will have track times and should have dynoed it. The problem existing for me on that is the 2 hour trip to get to the nearest dyno...or track for that matter. :mad: With what I have put into the car, it should take the cake. :thumb: Right now, without the final mods done yet, it is like no other n/a I have ever driven or seen!

No, he shifted seven times. You could see him shift 6 times, and one time you saw his car and could hear the shift.
