Who has a High Flow Cat with Catalyst Monitor Ready

Trying to find out if I buy a High Flow Cat. Like the Magnaflow or the Road Race Engineering if my Catalyst readiness monitor will read ready or do I have to have a stock cat for that to work?

i have the rre high flow cat, been passing smog every time no problem. no CELs. and i'm in cali, and i have a 50 trim turbo and other supporting mods for it.

i heard those cheap ones on ebay works.. not to be confused with those cheap $10 auctions which are really just straight pipe/resonator, but ebay does have real cats for much cheaper than the RRE one, but havnt tried that.

I've seen mine ready. I'm running a 3" cat.

Yes, magnaflow high flow cat can set emissions status to ready (and pass smog)

The problem with monitor ready flags not being set is a software problem and can occur with any cat.

A little off topic on my part, but thanks! That is nice to know, since I was looking at the Magnaflow. If it can pass in Cali it can pass in PA, which is what i need. On emissions day I feel bad for you guys with your stricter standards... but on a day like today where it is 20 degrees and we are supposed to get around 6-8 inches of snow today, I don't pity you at all!
