who has a fast auto gsx

300 HP isn't really fast, that's easy bolt on territory and you won't need to do any heavy work to the trans, but you'd appreciate end clutches and a shift kit, info on both can be found in the auto trans forum.

People have run 10 second passes on stock auto transmissions. You can get 300 with a 16g 18g 20g 50 trim ect. A lot of turbos will get you there.

there is a guy on the link forums in the low 9's with a stock 4g

thanks for that

the trans would be ok with 350awhp and what about launching?
why do other posts say 300/350whp before you should rebuild then

people do 10 sec on completely stock trans?
and i was thinking about getting a 14b turbo on the note that im broke having to put a new motor in my gsx does anyone have any advice or experience with 14b on 2gs

what hp is safe on stock motors?

You REALLY Need to listen to what people are telling you... .

Again Yes, people have run 10's on stock Autos...

Also you don't need to do much more then what you have done now.

Hopefully your understanding what people are telling you... .I'll post what I was about to in the other thread. If you just take the awnsers that are being giving to you your threads won't get closed...

Nos is a brand Nitrous is something that if used correctly just like anything will work correctly and not have any negitive consequentses... .

How big of injectors Depends on what kind of fuel you'll be using... .Gas you could get away fairly small injectors with a goal of around 300-350...
You have Link so I say go big around 1050cc or 1150cc might be overkill but it always sucks to have to buy things twice... .and if you decide to run e85 down the road you'll have some room.

Only thing I didn't see listed from before is a FMIC...

wow i cant believe autos have done 10 stock alot of people from here told me to build mine and not go past 320.
i dont want to use nitrous

im ready to listen... id push 600hp if i had the turbo to back it up i just said 300/350 cause thats what im use to driving ill keep turning the boost up when i get everything safe where it needs to be but i have a ebay 16g that i dont have faith in so im looking for a turbo

does anyone have any experience with 14b on 2gs?

so what your saying is that i need fuel and thats basically it

what is the difference between e85 and c16 such as the affects of each and which is better/ which one most people use

E85 is WAY cheaper But you use about 30-40% more over gas... .It's a budget race fuel in most peoples Eyes...Your not gonna be able to DD on C16

Use the search button. Or Google. There's plenty of info. One main difference is c16 is leaded gas.

Very common swap. Again, search.

RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH my friend. I also have a 2g auto gsx, currently going under a rebuild because i spun some bearings..but yes you dont have to modify your trans for that HP goal. As some one mentioned up above, look into getting a manual shift box. I will be getting one of these aswell. If anything, you should consider getting a 16g just incase if you want more output later on. Dont forget your supporting mods aswell to get to that goal. Good luck!:thumb:

Why do people get the shift boxs?

So if i tune my car on 93 then go to the track one day and put in c16 it wouldnt help, my time wouldnt be faster than 93?

The shift box let's u tell the trans when to shift. It will also raise the line pressure as well.

Most of this you could find out your self by clicking here Or clicking here These two things they are your friends... .

Asking questions that have been answered and that you could have searched and found the answer to yourself just makes people not what to help you Especially when you won't listen to what they are sugesting... .

You can buy a Brand new EVO III 16g from
forced performance just click on the link... Or search the DSM Classifieds bu clicking that link... .

If you didn't notice from the last thread if it's blue and underlined it's a link... .

i have read a good bit but as I said previously alot of people told me to build my trans after 300 before 350 ive searched that alot and the ebay 16g i know thats gonna break from reading a good 50 threads about that turbo alone i read alot of threads honestly i do but i still didnt get my answer about the shift box i know what they are andd what they do but why get one? could you get use 1 and 2 and drive w/ then drive w/o overdrive wouldnt that be the same thing and i heard that was bad for the trans

You don't need too. You're listening to the guys that actually mod, drive, and build these cars for a living! You're fine with a stock trans! Shift kit and call it a day! do a 16g on pump with 850's or so and tune it. BOOM! 300whp. of course there's more to it. that answers your original question. You're welcome.

You don't need a shift box if you're not road coursing or autocrossing. Just do the blue wire mod and a shift kit.
