So I'm pretty sure my clutch exploded but help me clear this up.
Before all this happened I was having some issues with the throw out bearing chattering a bit when the clutch was out.
I was driving home and I put my clutch in and downshift to take a corner, and when I took the corner I heard a pop noise and got some knocking in my driveshaft (atleast that's where it sounded like it was coming from.
I took it for a test drive today and as I'm releasing the clutch there's a knock but once the clutch is disengaged it stops. There's a whine as I step on the gas and if I give it too much gas the clutch slips. Brand new master cylinder and bled/calibrated so that's not the issue. I'm thinking transfer case or clutch, but leaning towards clutch given the overrev.
Confirm my suspicions friends?
