Which/What gauges should I get? [Merged 12-6]

Some people have had success with the AEM wideband. But to be honest with you I would get the Innovate MTX-L wideband. I have seen far more negative about the AEM than positive here on the forums.

The Innovate likes to work better with link too for future goals and there are a few reviews on here about AEM not honoring their warranty/lack of even having a warranty even after short ownership periods.

It's still an OK gauge. But from my experience (owning an Innovate) and others responses, Innovate is the superior product.

Hmm, if that one has better reviews then it sounds good to me. I'll have to check it out.

Edit: Is this the one you are talking about?

If you are going to get link in the future I recommend Innovative as well. I've read plenty of posts about people not being happy with their AEM uego. I personally never used it, but I do have the mtx-l and it works great.

Well for one thing, it looks like it would be a pain in the butt to wire it up on the a-pillar (short thicker cables, alot of them). Not only that but the connector for the sensor looks too bulky to fit in small passages.

The gauge is also required to be wired up permanently for datalogging. Whereas with the LC-1, the gauge is more of an add on to the module hidden away under the dash. In other words, you could datalog without a gauge on the LC-1, MTX-L needs the gauge since it is the module. Since you don't tune with a gauge, you tune by looking at the log since it graphs the timeline x values. But most will keep the gauge just in case something goes wrong, so I guess that stuff don't matter.

Hey guys I have the 99 Gauges and am looking for a setup to match them as close as possible and I need help.

I had a gauge pillar on my last 2g but this time I'm doing the gauge bezel and two or 3 vent gauges - Boost, Wideband A/F, Oil Pressure, and Water Temp.

I'm considering the Auto Meter Ultra Lites

I want the overall look and the Amber lighting to match the Instrument Panel as close as possible (call me ricer or whatever but I want to look closer to OEM), but I don't know the best way to do this. If there are any I don't know about please let me know too.

hey, fore-shame. I've got a voltmeter gauge. i like to know when my alternator is gonna keel over and die. and i like to know what my oil press is because if that drops out then I'm gonna seriously damage my motor if i keep driving. Oh I got glowshift gauges cause they were all pretty and colorful, turns out they also spuratically jump around when they want to also. waste of money.

I have the ultra lights in my car and love them they are very accurate and work well. If I remember right they matched the silver gauge cluster pretty well. (friend has silver stock cluster) The difference between it and stock is that the stock gauge cluster lights up the numbers where as the ultra light shines around the face of the gauge. Any other questions just ask.

So I've looking into a few different type of gauges and have come to the decision of getting Megan Racing gauges. Now the thing I'm wondering about is which ones should i get? i was thinking of getting a boost and AFR but was wondering if there are other more important ones to have? I'm going for the Megan's because of the price and have read reviews that they aren't that bad for the price.
