which way do I put the CAS in on my 1998 gst

I have two pics of the CAS. I took it out of the case so I could take a better pic of the two different ways it could go.
THIS WAY

cam angle sensor, I hope I got this labeled correctly CAS

Pic 1. The paint mark is an alignment mark and should be 90* from the intake cam dowel towards the firewall side.

First pic...Just make sure you put it inside the housing before you bolt it to the cam ...
