So I order the MSD 8.5 Super Conductor Wires, and before I go to school I decide to try and change them out real quick... how hard can it be. I pull out all the stock ones..(wasn't thinking) about to put new ones in, which order? I found a similiar post but it wasn't specific enough. Which terminals go to which cylinders. They do run parallel to each other.

Your stock firing order is 4-1-2-3 (left to right looking at your coil pack) it is also imprinted on the metal base of your coil pack.

Both 1 and 4 fire at the same time, as well as 2 and 3 so the exact order is not that important.

Also possibly useful is the fact that the cyls go 4-3-2-1 from left to right, looking at the valve cover ;) The #3 wire is the longest for a reason. Haha.

OK, so looking from the front of the car, the cylinder on the far left goes to the terminal on the coil pack on the far left, the second from the left cylinder goes to the far right terminal, the third cylinder from the left goes to the terminal to the far right, and the far right cylinder goes to the second terminal to the left.... sorry if that sounded confusing. Just tryna make sure I have this right so I'm able to drive to school tomorrow... hate bumming rides.

Standing in front of your car looking at the engine, your cylinders (going right to left) are 1-2-3-4. Since the firing order is 4-1-2-3:

The cylinder on the far right goes to the 3rd terminal from the right on the coil. The cylinder 2nd from the right goes to the 2nd terminal from the right. The 3rd cylinder from the right goes to the first terminal from the right on the coil. The 4th cylinder from the right goes to the 4th terminal from the right on the coil pack.

Remember 1 & 4 and 2 & 3 fire at the same time so their order is not important, but to keep it simple follow the above directions.

Good pic! Keep in mind that that is how the 1g coil is mounted. The 2g coil faces the front of the car, otherwise just follow that diagram.

Haha, yeah, it's a little "South Park Style" but it gets the job done ;)

And yeah, that's based on a 1g, but the 2g follows the same basic guidelines. sorry, should have mentioned that. haha.

Sweet, you were both alot of help. Thank You. Sorry if it had to be broken down to Lamen's terms for me.

omfg, so now I have them in the right order and the car won't start, it tries to start, but won't. what now.... when I had them in the wrong order earlier, the car started and even moved 200ft, but was idling funny and wouldn't go over too many rpms. Now I have them in order, but it wont' start, and if you try to crank it for too long, it smokes, but it's so dark outside, even with the flashlight I can't see where the smoke is coming wrong. Hope i haven't ####ed something up... help if you can
