I own a 1999 gsx that i am about to swap the 6bolt in and was wondering if i should go ahead a swap the head to really don't want to but what ever helps i guess

IUgrad is correct the 1g head has larger ports allowing for better flow. Basically you would want to use. 6 bolt block, 1g head, 1g intake manifold (flows better as well) 2g exhaust manifold.

That right there is a pretty damn decent setup. Read up on everything you need to do. Like mount the MAP sensor to the 1g intake manifold. There is a few more things just cant think of them at the top of my head.

Since you are doing the 6bolt you don't have to worry about it as stated above since it will obviously be including the 6 bolt head already.
The 6 bolt heads flows more than the 7 bolt counterpart, the 7 bolt has slightly better low end performance but the difference really isn't that noticeable.

The 6 bolt is stronger and has a higher flow, but if you're sticking with a 16g turbo then it won't really matter if you go with a 6 or 7 bolt. You would see any performance difference with a small turbo with a low flow rating. In reality, people only go for the 6 bolt because it's stronger not so much for the flow because they will port the head anyways.

got 6 bolt block with a gt30r would like to keep the 7 bolt head so i dont have to rewire but if it will make more power then i will find a 1g head and rewire my sensors

If you are thinking of putting your 7 bolt head on a 6 bolt block you will need to get the holes drilled out larger on the head to accommodate the larger 6 bolt head studs. As far as not being able to wire it up, it's fairly simple, like stated above all you need is the magnus 1g in a 2g cable or you can wire it yourself.

The 6bolt head flows more with larger runners, were as the 7 bolt head has better runner design with smaller runners.

Your best bet (cost wise) is to pick up a 6bolt head and a magnus cable.

The 1g head has better top end flow due to the way larger intake ports. Unlike the 1g head the 2g head provides better air velocity and like stated above the design is better for flow(air goes straight to the combustion chamber). You can also evenly match the intake and exhaust ports.

The head has nothing to do with which CAS you use. Since you are going with a 6-bolt, which has no crank sensor, you will need to use the 1G CAS no matter which head you use.

Yep find you a 1g cas, for the swap there easy to find. Just picked me up a black top, just case i ever get a 2g, they have better resolution.
