I have a 98 Gsx with a 6 bolt block and a 2g head. What size head studs should I get? One extremepsi's website they have a bunch of different mm sizes for the arp studs.

I just search and it said that I will need to drill out the 2g head to make these fit, is that true?

Right. The 6 bolt uses 12mm studs and the 7 uses 11mm studs. I've done the reverse, tapping out the stud holes in the 2G block for a 6 bolt head, when I test fitted some 11mm stock bolts in the early head's holes there was a crap-ton of slop, seemed like more than 1mm difference should've been.

That all depends on the bore size of your block, if you haven't had any machine work done or even if you went .020" over the 85.5mm will be the route to go. The 86mm is for people that have had to go .040" over and the 87mm is for .020" over 2.4l :)
