I've been looking online and i have found a replacement stock header for a 1g for $90 + S/H with warranty. I can't seem to find a ported 2g manifold anywhere but i came across what looks like a good one to get..

$150 and free S/H http://www.mach1car.com/Product.aspx?nav=4&p=70-1225

but i have a question on how it differs from these 2 http://www.mach1car.com/Product.aspx?nav=4&p=70-1224-2 and http://www.mach1car.com/Product.aspx?nav=4&p=70-1222

so are these a good choice, and if so which one should i order for my 1g talon?

thanks in advance

need a little more info. is your car turbo or not. for a n/t, not sure if that is a good manifold. If it is a turbo, people have not been having alot of luck with pacesetter manifolds. They tend to crack if installed improperly, you need to make sure you have a bolt in you downpipe to support it.

sorry.. TSI AWD A/T g1, it does have a 3 year warranty if it were to crack though.

the second two are for n/t cars, thats whats different...

just go with a ported 2g or an evo, its not worth the hassle...

edit: being cheap now will only lead to more money later...

Forget about that tubular shit unless you're going to spend decent cash and purchase a decent one(Shearer, VPE, Autolab, etc.). 2G manifolds are not hard to find and can also be found cheap. I paid $40 for my 100% crack free, un-touched 2G manifold.

i bought a ported evo manifold for 265 shipped, haven't looked back. unless you're planning on breaking the sound barrier, the evo or 2g manifold will be just fine
