Just wondeing which manifold I should get. Should I go with a Tubular one or a Cast. :dsm:

It really depends on your goals for the car and your budget. Give us some more info and we will help you out.

either way I would go with the SBR casted manifold and then port it. That should flow enough for huge hp. But keep in mind if you get a tubular manifold that it is strong enough to support the turbo and hang the exhaust on. Good luck.

For a tubular manifold that can endure the abuse of daily driving you will spend around $1000. I am swaping my tubular t3/t4 to the turbonetics cast manifold. I have had to take it off and welded twice in the last year and a half, and just found another crack last week. At this point I do not want to see another tubular turbo manifold again.

People have run 9's on a ported 2g manifold, I doubt your average modder is going to need more unless they are going for the "most spent on mods" or "bling" awards. (local nopi racer that is a part of the local DSM club went 9's on his until he got a break on a tubular mani)

LOL amen

Im not really looking to race it or anything, i'm just looking to get all the power I can out of it. I mean it's a daily driver so I want it to be reliable.

For cost/performance ratio you couldn't do any better than a ported 2g/evo3/SBR ported Manifold (they are all pretty similar). Espec considering you can get a used 2g manifold for as little as 60 bucks and port it yourself for free.
