Which wastegate/manifold

Having a tough time choosing, moving to the holset hx35 soon. I have a hafe with the provision for a external wastegate. I also bought a fp on sale which would mean getting a o2 wastegate provision. The hafe would be much easier, could always use the fp on the 1g I guess. I've read a lot of posts, but more input would be great.

Too many factors to tell.

What turbine housing will the HX35 have? DSM bolt-on, T3, stock, etc?

What kind/brand of waste gate do you want to run? Internal, external, Tial, Turbosmart, open dump, recirculated, etc?

Where do you want the waste gate to be? On the manifold or on the O2 housing? Will the turbine housing allow for an O2 waste gate?

The options are pretty numerous. You could go OBX T3 manifold with EWG and BEP T3 housing. Or BEP bolt-on housing with stock manifold and O2 housing wastegate. Or BEP bolt-on housing with wastegate welded to the manifold and a stock O2 housing. Or... you get the point. Nobody can really tell you what's best for your needs/goals/budget.

Going to use a bep housing. I have a tial 38 and a turbosmart 38, recirculated o2 housing for the 38s. Hafe for the external. More or less need to make the choice and order the bep housing. Probably going to go recirculated at the o2.

^^^ That's a pretty bad ass setup!

Like others have mentioned man, no one can really tell you what's best for you're needs because of budget and goals etc. Sounds like you have a pretty good plan stick with it until you need more.

Thanks, yeah true. That stupid budget...

A better picture, but I do agree on just doing a BEP housing for a easy set up. I kind of wished I went that route. Way, way cheaper and my car would be done by now, ha!

Like everyone is saying, do what is the best for you and your amount you can spend. Or save and do something fun and unique!

One of the brands that have the wastegate off the #1 exhaust port. Few other companys made versions.
