which cams should i use??

I just received a used head in the mail. It is slightly different than mine and equipped with different stock cams. The ones in my original head have a stamped "G" by the can gears.. the new ones have "HF" stamped by the gears.. anyone know which ones are better??

Assuming your new used head is stock I would stick with with what is already installed in the head... Mainly since cam bering clearance is broken in already... stock grinds are not drastically different so I would stay with what is already installed. Stock grind is not that important until you are running high boost rates. If you have a big turbo and supporting mods then you can upgrade to a bigger after market cam. You will generally not see much if any cam difference under 20 PSI boost levels and stock rev limit... Sorry!

Take the cam gears off and Is there any numbers or letters on that area of the cams
