So Ive been looking at some throttle body's and cant decide which one to buy. Im looking for some advice.

Here are the options:

1g N/T Throttle Body or 1g Throttle Body- Both 1g throttle bodies will have the half shaft mod and be ported out to 63mm. Any info on which one you personally like better, N/T or Turbo?

BBK/PPP 75mm throttle body- Worried about breaking

Boomba Throttle Body- $300+ and I have to buy an evo tps or the adapter.

Car is hx40 on e85. SMIM will be race or drag manifold, currently leaning towards drag mani.

ive had both the 1g NT and 1g Turbo Tbody on my cars. The 1g Turbo tbody worked great for me for many years, but after changing my intake manifold i ran out of room with the elbows and such that are needed for that tbody. Last year i changed to a modified NT 1g and i love it. Its much nicer, and you do not need to use a bolt on elbow. The one i have was half shafted, and bored to 64mm ( 1mm over sized ). So far so good, im very happy with it. As for the bbk and such, all my friends who run them kick them selves for doing it, it seems like its a headach. - having problems with leaks, and throttle cable linkage, also rember the 1g NT and turbo tbodys will use your stock 4 pin tps sensor... where the bbk you need to rewire the ford one to work. ( just an extra point for the mitsu ones ).

If you go drag, get the Boomba, trust me, you'll love it. Best TB ive seen yet. Love that you can keep the ISC.

If you go with the race mani, stick with the Ported N/T TB, its great and i love the fact that it deletes a gasket for boost leaks..

It'd be meaningless to stay with a small throttle body if you're going to a SMIM. I'd go for BBK or Q45 and you don't necessary have to have a ISC. With the right tuning you could live with it. Not to mention I should presume since you're leaning toward drag SMIM this isn't a DD car right?

1g is all you need for what 90% of the people on here will ever do. They will support well over 500whp, look at the TPG 2g.

Get a q45. They are the biggest and are cheap. You can pick them up for less the $100 in most cases. The tps is also very easily spliced I to the stock wires. You won't ever need an upgrade after either, cause I think that a 90mm tb is more the sufficent. If you want a stock style one, get an nt tb, it's much easier to work with since you can use a coupler on it versus the bolt on elbow.

Never owned the N/T. But I have run the 1g 60mm tb and a 1g 63mm bored out with the half shaft mod. I do not like the tricky idle but I'll have to see what a little tweaking with DSMLink V3 can do. The half shaft mod seems to make the throttle plate leak more, and also much more susceptable to throttle sticking. This forces me to then adjust the throttle plate to crack more, and so on and so on.

Do you have a boomba tb? Would I have to get both an evo tps and isc? Any pics of yours?

Correct, this is not my DD. I left out the q45 because I dont want 3.5 intake piping and im not looking for 800hp LOL. Plus with me running e85, Id rather have a isc if I could so I dont have to mess around with it too much. Which is why im iffy about the bbk too.
I have a brand new one forsale and a JMF intake manifold to go along with it if ## intrested
