where to get a socket for my ecu.

alright i know someone who is capable of sodering in a socket onto my ecu but i dont know where to get one at. does anyone have any ideas?

I had mine done through Dave at Dsmlink. You can contact him through Dsmlink's "general" questions e-mail address listed in their "Contact" link. Dave has an ECU repair business he runs through his home. I believe it cost me $38 shipped for socketing, testing and return postage. And he sent it 2 day Air.

I went through him because he tests all the ECU's when he sockets them & will tell you if any thing else that might need done. That, and he's only done it a couple hundred times.

thanks for all the help guys but my buddy and i worked out a deal and he got everything and we are just going to start burning and socketing our own chips and ecu's.
