I have a 91 n/t laser. It spit and sputtered on me the other day going to work. It's been acting up lately. The idle revs between 1200-1600 and is really annoying. I had it adjusted right at one time. I smelled hot electrical and knew instantly that my caps were bad. I took the ecu out and inspected it. To my suprise a driver had blown to bits. It was pretty cool looking though. It also appears that one of the caps went bad as well, but it's hard to tell for sure. I purchased the caps off of ebay about a year ago and installed them myself. I put about 10k miles on the car so I'm confident that it wasn't installation error. I read that the C106 cap can blow the driver, I'm thinking that could be my problem. I will check my ISC out later in the weeek but for now need the hookup on where to get good reliable caps. Even if they cost $ I don't care.

Call any local electronics shop. The volts don't have to be the same only = or greater.
But the microfarad needs to be the same and there common caps as far as microfarad. Shouldn't cost more then a few bucks though. Cost on my caps was like $2.21 for all 3 and with the usual 250% markup shops charge your still at like 6 bucks.
