2G Where to find EPROM chips?

I have an EPROM ECU for my car and I'm trying to find a chip but I can't seem to find any. Does anyone know where I can buy one?

You have a EPROM ECU that no longer has the original EPROM? I assume you just bought it that way?

I always ordered mine off eBay. A lot of ten chips and a burner is under $50.

Just search for a Willem EPROM burner. There are hundreds of them on eBay usually.

how about the frozen appz performance chips?

Those dudes have been around forever in the hacking scene, I assume the chips are copies of name brands. I have one in my e30 325 and had one in my 535, def made a difference, no harm, supposed to be copies of turners.

or wait you want a stock tune chip?

The only reason Im resorting to programming my own chips is because I tried to buy one from frozen appz and they never mailed me the chip. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks and are there any tutorials on how to edit the image that you program the chip.

The info is scattered across the internets. There is a yahoo group dedicated to the coding. Because it's all free open source info, they don't spoon feed people a complete walk through. But, with some time and effort, you can tune your own car very well for less than $100.
