I'm looking to do a rebuild on my engine this summer, seeing as my recent compression test results were pretty crap. I want to replace my pistons with NPR ones, but I can't seem to find them in stock anywhere. Are they discontinued, and if not where can I get them?

I'm looking at these ones, but I'm not too sure about their authenticity since they're off ebay: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Pistons-Mai...outh-Mitsubishi-Turbo-2-0L-4G63T/362358697852

You may just need to hone cylinders and replace only rings.
Just in case if you would need a NPR piston kit (6 Bolt Turbo, NPR Part # is 11-546) and can't find it, look for Enginetech pistons. The Enginetech part number for 6 bolt Turbo 21mm pin is P4546(4) and Ring set is C85324. Enginetech pistons should be supplied by NPR America (You see a NPR part number (11-546) is stamped on their piston). But I can't be 100% sure if their ring set is also supplied by NPR or not.

Will the slight bump up in the CR cause any issues with the stock ECU?
No, it will not effect it if it is just a small increase.
If I were just doing a stock rebuild, I wouldn't be afraid of the piston/bearing combo that you were looking at as long as you inspect the items upon arrival and look at their return policy. Those are things I ALWAYS look at before a purchase.

I asked the seller about the piston brand yesterday, and they got back to me saying that they're from Evergreen. Never heard of them before though, maybe you have?

Thats is why @DSMTUNERS.COM is here!
Watch for them. I sold a set of NPR's to one of our Canadian friends that I had in stock. Topline or Silv-O-Lite are options too. :thumb:
I would find one with a top coating if I could find it. Like the NPR's.

Okay so let's say I found a rebuilt engine with ARP hardware and an MLS head gasket, but it's got 2G pistons in it and I'm still on my stock ECU. If I swap it in, would it be drivable if I took it easy on the way home and parked the car until I get ECMlink?
