I swapped my 96 Auto FWD to Auto AWD, and the donor car i used did not come with the intermediate shaft. I have done some research and found that the years 90-96 will work. I cannot find one anywhere locally as there are no AWD cars in the junk yards here.
Does anyone have one laying around or know where i can get one? This is the last thing holding me up from getting my car back on the road.

will a shaft from a 97 work? my car is a 96, and the donor car i got all the AWD stuff from was a 95. I know 97-99 are different when it comes to rear ends and some other things.

no, i'm talking about the drivers side intermediate axle shaft that bolts to the block.

I think they are the same, bolts never change position from the block. Don't have part numbers to compare. But if you want to make your choice on that, go for it. You can blame me, but least you tried. I never had a 2g awd so I can't tell you from experience. I know people do the swap all the time on the FWD to make the FWDs have equal length CV shafts.

No. the bracket is different. You want a 90-96 like you mentioned in your first post. RTM's got one off a 95 but we're in Canada so shipping would be pricey.
