Intermediate shaft question which years fit? Where to get?

Well i'm on the search for a intermediate shaft. I need it for a 96 awd, i also need the bracket too. Does the bracket come with the shaft? Also which years work? i heard that all 2 g's gst and gsx work? Is that true? This is turning out very hard to find!

I believe that you are using the wrong terminology. Do you mean an intermediate shaft (that is a gear shaft inside the transmission), or do you mean a drivers-side axle half-shaft?

If you are looking for the drivers-side half-shaft assembly with bracket, it should be this part number: MR276643 You can either order it through mitsubishi, or you can contact Mitsubishi Graveyard. Both ways will get you your part.

Yeah i thought it was called half shaft then everyone said it was intermediate. DO you know which years fit what? Do the 2g gsx and gst interchange? or can you only use the awd half shaft on a awd and the same with the gst fwd car? is 95-99 the same? thanks
