Where should i?

Gap my spark plugs? i know its .028 on a stock 2.0L but mine is a 2.4 stroked...i've read .035 and .041 so i wanna see if anyone knows what the right gap should be before i throw them in...

Start at .028" and if it blows out the spark, lower the gap.

boost is at 25 lbs on the fp3052 but i switch it to a gt40r sometimes and boost 35 lbs

Yea .28 would be a good starting place but I suspect you might end up going lower.

On our Supra we have the gap down to .22 @30psi (GT35R)

Well its actually in a BMW E36 (Bimmota as we call it)

Its the 1JZ 2.5L Supra Motor. On 30psi we were making 530whp. Stock internals

I agree with bradselph. I'd suggest gaping them at .025 with those mods. You definitely don't want to widen the gap at the risk of blowing the spark out. Good luck!

so i gapped them at .028 it runs and drives fine but now its starting to sputter/fuel cut kind of feeling and its never done it before and the check engine light comes on when it starts doing it only on full throttle tho...now gotta invest in some new spark plug wires since those haven't been change in 25k or Oct 2010

Might be misfiring, does the CEL stay and is it able to be read?

doesn't stay just starts flashing at me like a xmas tree ..and once i let of the throttle it goes away...and i don't have windows 7 installed on my macbook pro to check what the data log says

You have link installed?
It's possible its either registering knock/timing pull if that's the case. I have mine to come on at 2*+ of pull.

Yeah i got dsm link v3 and i was thinking about taking it to ums for a retune a more agressive one just on e85

Sounds like spark blowout to me.

Lower the gap to .025 or even .022 and if it still does it or doesn't get any better then look else were for the problem.

I have noticed when they tune cars at the dyno they always tell em between .18-.25 gap.That is on car's just about same horsepower you should be running on that setup.

I was getting blow out when I had my plugs gapped to .028 at 30 psi, I gapped them down to .025 and have not had a problem since.
