Where does this go?

I'm putting my talon back together after many years. I got it in 2006, just got everything back from the machine shop and am reassembling.

I cant find any info on the washer I found in my parts bin. I had everything labeled, but the years of wear and tear and moving have taken some of the labels. I found it in the box with my crank sprocket, harmonic balancer etc.

Thanks for the reply, ill do some research to see if it has to do with the sparkplug.

I feel like it goes with the crank sprocket since thats the box I found it in. I could also be completely wrong.

I've had all manner of things apart on dozens of dsms and I've never seen a washer like that. Not on any front case 1g or 2g that I've seen.

When I worked at the Parts Store, we would have probably called that the "anti-clunk spring" and sent you on your way...…...
I haven't ever seen that washer on any of my 1g cars......yet.

That's because you'll only see those types of washers on fast cars.
