Please help. Where does this go?

Where does this black plastic clip go? It showed up out of nowhere while I was installing the intake cam. Maybe it's completely unrelated I just like to know what it's for and where it came from. It's about the size of a penny. Thanks!

Ive never seen anything like that. Cant even think what it would be for. Im pretty sure its unrelated.

I just noticed your avator. If you have a 420a then I have no expierence with that engine. Someone else will have to chime in for I am not giving advice on something I have not been really been around.

I should have been more specific. It's a 7bolt 4g63 with a 1g head! It also has BC camshafts.

Then that clip is not needed anywhere. Keep doing what your doing.
