Where do you buy 1g SSAC FMIC?

I see the 2g kits for sale but dont see any 1g kits. Did they stop making them? Guess I have to go with the punishment kit?? its just that it has such a small intercooler...want something a bit bigger.

I'm assuming the reason why he asked is because of money. ETS does make nice kits but not everyone has $700 to throw at a FMIC kit.

I had the link but now I cant find it. Try searching the forums there has to be a link. Just click on the search button type in punishment FMIC kit there has to be a link in there. Or google SSAC fmic 1g dsm.

I already searched. theres no link and even if there was a link to ebay i wouldnt be able to view it because the threads are from 2007. The reason i didnt want the punishment fmic is because the intercooler itself is too small. Maybe ill just buy a core and piping and try and make it short route

Dont they just put em on aution or buy it now from ebay? I dont know about 1gs but i my 2g one on aution. Just keep checking I know they dont have as many as they used to but once in a while one comes up

To small? The 1g intercooler is 34x8x3.5, which on most street cars is more than enough intercooler.

I wish they did. Any retailer selling an intercooler kit that runs the piping clear across the front of the car and in front of the core should be shot.

Your best bet would be the Punishment kit. Great fitment, short-route piping....overall a much cleaner setup for your money.

Thanks for the link. That long route is bs I agree. i was going to rig it to short route. I was under the impression that the intercooler was bigger on the SSAC kit. I swear there are guys using that kit that have a bigger intercooler. Maybe i am mistaken. By bigger I mean taller...to where you cut the upper portion of the bumper becase its so tall. What kit is that?? The PR kit is way better now that i see tje SSAC doesnt have that huge core

The XS Power / SSAC 1G FMIC kits used the same core. It's a cross-flow core, so it's very hard to plumb as a short-route kit because of our car's design on the driver's side. The Punishment core's rear-facing outlets on the end tanks takes the cake!

ive had the 1g ssac long route kit on my car for years now and it still hold up great. ive never had to complain about the routing or the extra piping because it did not kill my lag

Just go with the punishment racing FMIC. They are short route. Best bang for buck. Simple!!

I actually run the older version of the SSAC on my 1g. As soon as I received it the piping was re-modified to shorter routing. What some people don't realize is that the kit has plenty of piping to cut and modify to whatever one pleases. My core is 28x3.5x12 which is different than the link above, seems that they are using a smaller core now. Props on the PR kit it is the best bang for the buck now it seems!

I run the older SSAC fmic too. I paid $150 for everything awhile back. The piping is so long but it doesn't effect spool much and cools pretty good. I may try to shorten the hot side pipe one day when i'm bored. If you look, you can find used fmic kits around
