Where to buy SSAC Fmic Kit

Where is everyone buying their 2g ssac kits from? Did you guys buy it directly from SSAutoChrome or what? How long did it take to get shipped to you? Just asking because i dont want to get stiffed for my money by an unreputable seller. Thanks

The flow rate of the core, the design of the end tanks, the piping type, whether the piping is beaded or not, the quality of the couplers, and the style of clamps.

It depends where you get it from. The ssauto and ssauto-like kits have beaded piping along with tbolt clamps and silicone couplers, but most of them are missing a 2.5" coupler and a couple t-bolt clamps. The only one that includes all the hardware neccessary is the kit I posted above.

SSAUTOCHROME is not back ordered, the price of the FMIC is $245 shipped, add onto of that TWO (not the one needed) extra couplers and t-bolt clamps for an additional $15 and...

total= $260 shipped

VR Speed factory is $290 plus $25 shipping.

HMMMM decisions decisions....

$260 and an extra coupler that you WILL need, or $315?

EDIT: i now see that VR includes a 5" long coupler for mounting the FMIC lower, thats a plus.

Awesome, start an agrument over a cheap ass fmic either way. Geez get over it. The couplers are all crap anyway.
I bought a 3' section of 2.5" coupler and cut it to the lengths I wanted and never had a problem blowing off couplers. You use the 3" couplers they give you and you WILL blow one off.

Re-reading my post i see that it sounds like i am starting an argument, however i just want people to know that you can get it cheaper if you want to.

Really, either way you get a great FMIC at an amazing price. I just thought i would make known the differences in price and what you get. And despite what was said, the silicone couplers are good quality. Maybe not as good as the best, but considering "top" quality couplers sell for around $5-$10 a piece for 3 ply it is an amazing deal, not to mention t-bolt clamps being $4-$6 a peice!

So just for the silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps the cost from buying at a far more reputable shop would be anywhere from $65-$80.

I just bought a Slowboy Race core kit locally for great price so i will no longer need an ssac kit. Thanks for all the help guys. This SB core is fcking HUGE !! =)

I would like to do this so you dont have to go cutting and all that mess.
