I'm trying to figure out the size of my compressor wheel on my Hx35, but where do I measure the wheel at because the top of the wheel is going to be the smallest and get larger as I measure down.

Both the compressor and turbine are measured at there largest point.

A 8 blade hx35 compressor inducer is 56mm, and a 7 blade compressor inducer is 54mm. Yours is a 7 blade so should measure 54mm.

You're going to want to measure both at its largest point, and smallest.

So you have both inducer and exducer specs. The smallest point at the front being the inducer, and biggest portion at the back being the exducer.

You can't measure straight across since you have a 7-blade wheel. In your case the best option is to measure from the center axis to one inducer tip, then multiply by two.

There are 50mm, 52mm, and 54mm 7-blade wheels....all of which have a 78mm exducer.

Do they all flow the same?(I wouldn't think so)

The Evo III 16G, 18G, and 20G all have the same exducer spec- do they all flow the same? Obviously not.

Thats what I figured. Anyway, I can't get a accurate reading from the center with it still on the nut but I want to say its either 52mm or 54mm. So lets just say its the 50mm wheel, what flow numbers to expect in bep form and t3 form?

They probably don't release maps for every single wheel they make- only the more popular ones.

If you have a 50mm or 52mm wheel, why not run it and give us some airflow specs yourself? I have a guy running a 52mm 7-blade into the low 11's and mid-125's with his street-driven 1G tuning with a freakin' AFC so it's definitely still potent. :p

Well tha bep housing and sd is on the way. Gotta find what intake pipe I'm going to run and oil drain then tune and I'll post back up some results. I'm at hoping for 50lbs.
