Where can I find an awd tranny bell housing?

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Robby, I am assuming you have a crack in yours??

I normally keep spare 1G transmission cases around, otherwise I can purchase a new bellhousing for you if that is what you want.

Part number is MD727855 for a 1G AWD 5-speed.

It is not as simple as just removing the case bolts and pulling off the bellhousing on this transmission, it requires a full teardown by someone who has the special tools and the know-how to do so.

There are several professional transmission rebuilders for this platform including:
*Shep Trans (Sheptrans.com: Specializing in Performance Nissan GTR Transmissions, DSM Transmissions and EVO Transmissions)
*TRE Trans (WELCOME TO TRE   WE SPECIALIZE IN MANUAL TRANSMISSION REPAIR)
*Jack's Trans (Jacks Transmissions LLC — Welcome)
*Myself (TMZ Performance)
*Etc.

Jump on www.widsm.org or WI-DSM.com for local forums that can give you further information to trusted vendors, or who to get the parts from if you want a second opinion.

You do transmissions yourself? that's sweet, always wanted to learn but to afraid to do one myself for fear of royal screwing shit up (engines and suspension is what I'm best at.) How long you been in business? might have to send you my FWD tran for a stage 3 upgrade in a year or two.

Been in business since 2009 publically, and doing them for several years prior.

sweet! Well when it comes time for my tran to get an update you've got my business. Out here just for a stock rebuild I'm looking at 4k being the cheapest.:barf:

Ya one of my ears broke off and it's either get it welded on or get a new tranny or I an just replace the bell housing. I have a 92 awd. My cousin should have all the neccisary tools for it. But what are you talking in prices? I might have to get a new tranny cause my cousin was saying something with the throw out bearing is really messed up too and said the tranny might be done. So if you have any used Trannys just laying around that you would let go for a decent price messege me and well talk see if we can work something out.

Thank you
