i'm starting to do some research into wheels and stuff to replace my stock 2g gst rims. i think i want to do 17". light, yet sturdy being the key criteria. i drive on the VERY rough, barely paved streets of NYC.

Any suggestions on brands/material/websites with good prices?

what types are there out there? (material)
are graphite rims any good?

i guess if you have any tire information that you can share for a noob, i'd appreciate that as well =)

thanks

Get some 17x7 of anything you want and some 225/45ZR-17 Nitto Neo Gens or Yokohama AVS ES100s. Tires are the most important part of your car. Don't think so? What is the only thing touching the ground. Tires. Choose them wisely. They can make or break your ride. I recommend those tires because I have driven both and they both perform well in most situations.
