Had resealable rock star to start
I need a coolant res. badly! Thats the only reason my car overheats. That cheap vatozone crap doesn't work! All the coolant that gets spit out doesn't get sucked back in.
Strange thing is, my friend who is out of town right now has a stock looking res. using the VSRF Front Mount, which I have also. Its like a shorter version of the stock 2g can. I was going to get pictures before he left but camera was dead.
I need something cheap that works.
When you hooked line from filler to res did you do it to the top nipple or bottom :screwy:...mine from AUTOZONE worked fine..just hated look
Well the one I have is that box looking one, it has a nipple that goes to the bottom of the tank and another one that goes to the top. But I've filled it and all of that. All it does is spit out the coolant into the res, which overflows in the res. Then doesn't suck anything back up. Which leaves me overheating.
The DSM style res has one nipple going into the top of the bottle with a hose going to the bottom. The Autozone doesn't. Just has a nipple on the top and on the bottom. Top is for overflow. Bottom is supposed to go to the filler. And its also a brand new radiator cap.
