When I am cruising along around 2500 rpm's or so and I step on it to accelerate the rpms will jump to around 6k or so when the boost comes on but the speed doesnt really change. I have noticed this the most in 3rd through 5th gear. If I launch the car from a stop at around 3500-4000 and hammer it through the gears it will hold alot better. I have bled the system, set the master adjustment with a little play at the top, and have eliminated the accumulator with a SS line. What could make the car do this?

Plate and disk only have around 6k on them and its a 2600 w/ a street disk.

sounds like its slipping do you have any oil leaks in the area of the clutch that maybe causing it

Did you break the clutch in properly or did you hammer on it as soon as you got it. If you didn't you could have put a glaze on the the disk and ruined it. Also if your rear main is leaking that could be the problem.

I will check for leaks in the area, i think the water neck might have a slight leak. The clutch was broken in before i got the car.

My clutch lasted less than 4000 miles - depends on power level and driving. If you're slipping the crap out of it @ launch it's not gonna last very long. my car is making well over 400whp - the 2600 hated every minute of it.
