What's wrong with this clutch?

This clutch (2100) worked perfectly before I tore the car apart for a rebuild. I put it back together and it's slipping like crazy. I tried adjusting the pedal and bleeding the line and nothing worked. I bought a new clutch (2600) and am getting ready to put it in, but I'd like to make sure I don't F this one up too. Any ideas what happened to this clutch?

It looks like there are actually notches on the springs ("fingers").

That ring is from the throwout bearing. How about some pictures of the clutch this time instead of the pressure plate.

I know it's from the throw-out bearing. Is it normal for the springs to be notched though? The disk part of the clutch didn't photograph well. It isn't worn all the way down, and it has obviously been slipping a lot! It smells burned. I don't know what else to tell you about it.

Did you use a new throwout bearing when you reassembled along with a new clutch fork and pivot ball?

It is not normal for pp fingers to (LOL pp fingers ok...) be notched. I had a LOT of hard miles on my previous pp (LOL again cough) using a 4 puck disc and there was nothing notched when i took it out. It was "tapered" at the ends of the fingers like they had been worn down but nothing like what you're describing.

If I had to guess if you buy the parts I listed above w/ a new pp then you'll be fine when you reassemble as long as you check the fork travel. (which should be fine if you replace all those parts). They are cheap too so don't cheap out and decide to not do it.
