What's the limits of a 1G MAS?

I'm just wondering at what point it would be a good idea to upgrade to a 2G mas or a GM mas with translator. I'm currently running 18lbs of boost with a big 16G and don't hit fuel cut.

get the gm maft, I just did and it in combo with an intercooler pipe have made a very noticable diff. its a overall better unit then the 2g with the ability to tune
