I was told the oil filter housing was a good oil supple point when your doing the turbo conversion on a nt. Just wondering why ther would be 2 and if they serve diferent purposes.

Depends on which ones you are looking at and on which (turbo or non-turbo) housing, as well as what turbo (MHI, which should generally be fed from the head, or other) you are planning to use. The most notable difference between any ports on any oil filter housing is that some lead to non-filtered oil and others lead to filtered oil.

If you are unsure and that is something that concerns you, post a picture of your oil filter housing and we can help you with which port to use.

Well im going to be runnin the t3 t4. I have the oil filter hkusing that takes the bigger filter. Not the smaller 1. And there are 2 allen head pluges. 1 that is facing straight out and 1 that is kinda facing at a 45 degree angle down.

Im not sure how but it wont allow my to upload a photot ob to the thread. And my profile doesnt have enuf room to let me upload another photo.

I was able to upload a picture onto my profile if that helps any.

Just an FYI, your N/T 2.0 liter has an oil feed port in the head for the turbo, just like the turbo model. All you need it the banjo bolt. I dropped a N/T motor into a TSi. The only motor mod I performed outside injector changes (and fuel pump of-course) was buying a banjo bolt for the head to turbo oil feed line and installing the turbo oil-pan.

Yea i did notice the bolt on the head for the oil but i allready went and got the fittings to put it on to the oil filter housing. So if that would be sufficient enough of oil pressure then i can just use that port. Thanls for the imput tho. Just wanting to know which 1 of those 2 ports i could use.

Yes i do imfact have the 4g63 that i am turboing. Im not sure was has been done to the head. I got the engine remained thru autozone. All i know has defdinently been done is being bored 50 over.

You bought a rebuild motor from AutoZone? Is there a reason why you didn't get a turbo motor while you were at it? You will be limited to low boost for safety on the N/T pistons. Otherwise you will destroy the ring landings.

Yea ive heard that but at the time i didnt know anything about the engines. Still have the warranty could always blow mine and they replace it for free no questions asked.
