I just got a 1992 FWD TSi Turbo and I want a full exhaust system not just a muffler for it. What is the best set up? Can you give me a cheap one, middle of the road, and full cost top-of the line analysis? Thanks I appreciate the help.

Also can you tell me where to buy to get the best price and deal?

If you get a full 3" turbo back exhaust you are not going to notice much difference between the low end and the high end systems. RNR has great prices check them out.

A turbo back bolts to the O2 housing and goes back from there. The cat back is well...... just that. It goes from the cat back.

I have RNR on my car, whoa that rhymes, and I love it. The pics on there site blow so if you want pics of my exhaust hit me up on AIM.

Exhausts arn't rocket science. If you want a cheap, quality exhaust go to a reputable muffler shop and tell them you want a mandral 3" system. I got my full turbo back 3" mandral system with a straight-thru Magnaflow done for 2/3 of what I just saw on RNRs site. And that included two center sections, a test pipe, and another one using my old cat for the emissions test. I could have cut that in half if I'd cut and tacked it up myself and had them finish the welds. There is only a couple of bends.

The best exhaust is one with no neckdowns at the flanges. Empty pipe is empty pipe. Can you believe people buy AEM intakes?!?

Thanks I just wanted to know what the best way to do it was......I was getting some opinions from neighbors and different people who don't really know DSM cars. OMG
