I've got the following :

Small 16G - 1st Gen BOV (uncrushed) - Apexi N1 Catback Exhaust - Boost and A/F Guage - Homemade MBC.

I don't really know what comes next. I didn't have a install kit for the 16G and someone told me I need to get the j-pipe. ( I'm using the stock one used for the t-25. )

What would be next? Thanks.

are you running with the 16g right now, or are you planning on installing it later ???

The 16G is already installed right now. I plan on using it until the beginning of next year; then it will be time for a T3/T4 50trim.

I'm pretty sure you do need a j-pipe for 2gs for the installation of a 16g I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere...

How about fuel mods since you can't run a 50trim well on the stock setup.
How about a downpipe or a safc to tune the fuel mods with?
How about reading the TUNING GUIDE.
It's there for a reason.

I did read the tuning guide.. Yea, it helps.

But it didn't answer my question as to whether or not a J-PIPE was necessary for a 16G install.

T-25's don't use j-pipes. Yes you WILL need one for a 16g.

I used the hose from the t-25 to act as a J-pipe for my 16G. I know it's ghetto, but couldn't afford the j-pipe at the time. The hose has a big kink in it actually and I think it's really restrticting air flow. Anyone know where I can buy a j-pipe?

You Said It Was Already Installed. So Why Ask About A J-Pipe.

There was a rumor a while back that you could just swap around the lower ic pipe and that works but I'm unaware if it works 100%.

I didn't have a 1G compressor outlet and still somehow managed to fit the lower ic piping onto the 16g, but it has a pretty big kink in it. You think this is restricting my turbo?
