Okay so I have a complete head done... I ordered my block last next now I currently have Manley forged crank, .20 over wiseco pistons and eagle H beam rods... I also have new oil pump front case, and high pressure water pump... I have no idea what's next I know I have to get a head gasket and bearings.. So what's next?

I also have a gst engine with 144k should I reuse anything off of there like the oil filter etc...

Surely you are not going to reuse an oil filter....

When you get your block, have it balanced unless you are getting one that is all ready to go. Make sure and get a seal kit both top and bottom.

Dont forget headbolts...Depending on what you are going to run...L19 or equivalent is the best to go. If you get you head resurfaced and the block is new, you can use a MLS HG and with L19s, you can throw as much boost, for the most part, at it you want. Now is the time for new pulleys for the front case....not crank pulley although the stock one has been known to separate so a fluid one would be best if you want to spend the money.

Get new belts and timing belt, of course. Now would be a good time to get new fasteners as well, if you have the money to do so. It would be a good time to get a new tensioner as well.

As far as other things...If it is a stick, upgrade clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and all those goodies based on what you want to run. Order things like injectors and what have you.

That is about all I can think of at the moment. Others may have suggestions as well.

like he said get the L19 head studs or arp head studs, that is a must. new timing belts, new front main seal, new head gasket. i personally don't like reusing my old head gasket. oem head gasket is fine. since the tranny is out get better clutch. there are seal kits so that would save you some money. pretty much what i can think of too.

Ok you guys really helped me out, I deff will be getting the arp's and new everything else, thanks
