I have a 91 TSi. It has an RFL bov on it from when I bought it. It's vented (dont comment) and I'm just curious how its really supposed to sound. When I just run it normally, letting off at about 12 psi, it makes an insanely loud, airy noise, similar to when a big rig sets its air brakes. It bugs me because it's VERY SLOW to blow off, I'd say between 1.5-2.0 secs. BUT, if I put it up to about 12 psi, and let off my gas pedal about 95%, not completely, I get a nice, quick, high pitched sound. How the heck is this thing supposed to work? Thanks for any help!
