I never knew about this until this thread was brought up from the grave like a week ago. I'm soo stoked to look in mine once I pull my dsm out of storage. I'm tempted to take the 6 hour drive to my mothers place just too look now.

I also "lost" my wallet after putting it in that pocket one day and forgot all about it.

HA....yea after getting the car, finding it right away (due to it being open when i opened the glove box...) and putting my wallet in there and keeping it there for about a week...I couldnt find my wallet when i needed it for 2 days.

+2 on the little section under the ash tray. Mitsu must have thought we were all pot heads and needed to stash away some stuff while being pulled over? . The door wouldnt latch on my Talon so that sucked but in my Eclipse, I have a couple condoms and a lighter in there at all times. I keep my spare pack of cigs in there and put my wallet in there while driving. I too have "lost" my wallet using this contraption. I didn't know this secret compartment was such a secret that some of us didn't know it even existed .
